Senior Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant who is organized, detail oriented, flexible, motivated and has a professional demeanor and presentation. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Accountant that possesses small company/multi-entity accounting experience. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of client assignments in various industries and service areas. You’ll utilize your accounting background to provide excellent client service to help our clients reach their goals.
General Accountabilities
- Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to our clients
- Proactively identify client issues, communicate and implement timely solutions
- Build trusted advisor relationship with client executives by gaining an in-depth understanding of their business objectives and management needs
- Support a variety of accounting functions for clients including supervising transactional processing, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
- Supervise account reconciliations, such as bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable and other balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial statements and required work papers to support financial statements
- Monitors, reviews and verifies accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation
- Ensures compliance with internal policies, agency rules and regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles
- Reviews, prepares, reconciles and analyzes accounting records and financial reports
- Manage department and team of accounting associates and interns
- Supervise preparation of adjusting journal entries for clients as needed
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of continuous experience in accounting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Willingness and ability to work extra hours during tax season
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels of an organization while providing accounting support and training
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as needed
Skill Requirements
- High level of proficiency in QuickBooks, both Desktop and Online
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Quicken
- Strong knowledge of chart of accounts and adjusting journal entries
- Ability to learn and understand using various accounting platforms in multiple industries for a variety of clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Tax Associate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant that possesses significant taxation and accounting experience. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of client assignments to include tax return preparation, tax planning and advisory services in various industries and service areas. You’ll utilize your experience and background to provide excellent client service to help our clients reach their goals.
General Accountabilities
- Examines accounts and records and computes taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations
- Assists with complex federal, state and local tax issues and planning
- Advises clients regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability
- Prepares tax returns and provides accounting services to individuals, businesses, trusts and estates
- Organizes and maintains tax records and conducts tax studies and special projects
- Research issues, as necessary
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- Master’s degree, Taxation strongly preferred
- CPA candidate, preferred

Tax & Advisory Intern
Job Summary
The Intern will perform many of the duties of an entry level associate including working directly with clients, under the supervision of our Senior Management and Partners.
General Accountabilities
- Support a variety of accounting functions for clients including transactional processing, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
- Process transactions for clients which may include accounts payable/cash disbursement, accounts receivable/cash receipts and payroll processing/coordination
- Fixed asset management for clients including depreciation schedules
- Complete account reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts and other balance sheet accounts
- Monitor, review and verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation
- Prepare, reconcile and analyze accounting records and financial reports
- Prepare and distribute 1099, 1098, 1096 and other related tax forms
- Clarity or research issues, as necessary

Job Qualifications
- Working towards or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and/or working towards a Master’s degree in Taxation or Accountancy
- Actively participating in student organizations or possess work experience in accounting or a related field, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, taxation compliance, codes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of a firm/organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Tech savvy with superior computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
